Dear Friends and Family
It’s funny how one’s life unfolds and sometimes unexpectedly so. I was encouraged by many of you after having embarked on my MTB journey this year, to participate in the Cape Town Cycle Tour. You have more faith in me in completing the ride than what I have in myself…I guess I’m a bit nervous and hence haven’t attempted road cycling as yet.
Up until yesterday it wasn’t something I was interested in as I don’t like or enjoy road cycling much, but it was always on my bucket list of things to do! The Cape Town Cycling Tour is just one of those events you have to do at least once in your life!
So yesterday an opportunity presented itself and knowing me as a person, I said yes…I always do! And the reason why I agreed without hesitation was because it’s for a good cause. Children and Cancer and I’m passionate about both. So what better reason to participate in the tour next year than to cycle for a cause!
So I’m humbly requesting you to join me on my journey of raising funds on behalf of Islamic Relief . The proceeds will go towards the building and maintenance of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in Johannesburg.
Click on the link and donate whatever you can.
I would really appreciate it!
Thanking you all in advance and God bless you all!
One in Two South African children with Cancer will die, because of lack of access to quality medical facilities.
Islamic Relief Worldwide has partnered with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital through sponsoring the Oncology Unit of the Hospital and I want to help them.
I will be participating in the 2017 edition of the Cape Town Cycle Tour and I’m calling on you to help me raise R50 per km of the 109km race.
To donate, please click on the donate button and give whatever you can towards my cause.
This will enable Millions of Children across the African continent to access quality healthcare – irrespective of their economic status.
