Yemen now officially hosts the world’s largest human-induced food security crisis.
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you.
Dear Family & Friends
We hope this message finds you well during these challenging times. Covid-19 is present nearly everywhere, and our community is no exception.
We know that times are tough, but there are still reasons for us to smile. We are extremely thankful, grateful and blessed for all the privileges we have and would like to give back to those in need.
ISLAMIC RELIEF has an important role to play by continuing operations to best serve humanity. With the ongoing conflict in Yemen – already one of the poorest countries in the region – tens of thousands of lives have been lost and over 20 million people don’t know where their next meal will come from. A country crippled by conflict is sadly now on the brink of famine.
Families and communities have been torn apart and left without even the most basic of living essentials:
We would be honoured if you help us raise R50 000 to help save lives in Yemen.
R500 could provide emergency nutrition for a malnourished child.
R1200 could feed a family for one month.
R7200 could provide water for 6 families for a month.
You can help make a difference. Your donation could help save a life.
Every donation helps! If you’re unable to donate at this time, we’d appreciate it if you’d share our profile on social media or forward this to people on your WhatsApp.
Please help us, help those in need!
