Campaign Story

I am a volunteer with Islamic Relief, and have been working with them since 2023. In this time I have built strong relationships with members of the organisation as well as fellow volunteers. I have the utmost respect for the work Islamic Relief does in bringing relief and dignity to vulnerable people, not only in South Africa but across the globe.

As a student, I see myself in the Palestinian youth, and while I may not be able to understand the hardships they are faced with, I believe that I can still play a role in alleviating some of their pain. I have thus been inspired to use this platform to raise funds on behalf of Islamic Relief for the people of Palestine this Ramadhan. Your donations, however small, will go towards equipping our brothers and sisters in Gaza with the necessary resources to survive, rebuild, and overcome, so that one day their youth may grow to experience the same opportunities I have been blessed with. Ultimately we should be grateful to the people of Palestine, as assisting them now acts as an investment for us in the Hereafter.
