Campaign Story

I will be  participating in the Islamic Relief Global Challenge at Machu Picchu, raising funds for Sudan—a nation going through one of the gravest humanitarian crises of our time.

Sudan is engulfed in relentless conflict, with over 10 million people displaced and more than 25 million in desperate need of aid. Children are succumbing to starvation, families are torn apart, and entire communities are vanishing under the weight of war and famine. Islamic Relief has been steadfast in its mission, delivering life-saving food, water, medical care, and psychosocial support to over 1.2 million people, even as their own staff face immense danger.

This journey is more than a physical challenge,  it’s a testament to resilience and a call to action. As I ascend the heights of Machu Picchu, I carry with me the stories of those in Sudan who climb daily mountains of adversity. Your support can transform despair into hope.
