Campaign Story

This Ramadan, I, Shazia, am raising funds in partnership with Islamic Relief to provide necessary humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.

The month of Ramadan is a sacred time of compassion, generosity, and turning our hearts toward those who are enduring hardship. While many of us prepare for this month with safety and comfort, families in Gaza are facing unimaginable suffrage, through shortages of food, clean water, medical supplies, and shelter. Children, women, and the elderly are enduring the impact of a humanitarian crisis that continues to deepen every day.

I am raising funds because remaining silent in the face of suffering is not an option, and I feel compelled to act with compassion, and care for the oppressed. Supporting Palestine for me is about humanity, dignity, and the sanctity of all human life; and in doing so, I am answering a moral and spiritual call to act when families are facing hunger, loss, and displacement, and when lives are at risk simply for existing. Through this fundraising, I hope to turn empathy into action and offer meaningful relief to those who need it most.

By joining me this Ramadan, your donation will help Islamic Relief distribute life-saving food, emergency medical aid, clean water, and essential support to families in Gaza. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a form of charity that can ease hunger, heal wounds, and restore hope.
