ince October 7, 2023, the intensifying violence in Palestine has claimed over 45,000 lives, including more than 17,000 children and 12,300 women. In addition, 11,100 individuals have been injured, and over 11,200 remain missing—70% of whom are women and children. The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen, leaving families in desperate need of food, medical aid, and shelter.

This Ramadan, I am working alongside Islamic Relief, a global humanitarian organization dedicated to providing life-saving assistance in Gaza. Through emergency relief efforts, Islamic Relief is delivering vital aid, including food parcels, medical supplies, and essential support to those affected by this devastation.

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:

“Whoever saves a life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:32)
